Founded In 1986

Mike’s Body Shop in Wichita, Kansas was founded in 1986 after a deep seeded passion for the auto body industry inspired Michael Hutchinson to open his own business.  Mike is the father of two sons and grandfather of five grandchildren; his hope was to build a business and a legacy that they could call their own.  Together with his wife, Kathy, they took a leap of faith, trusting in God to provide customers for the business which was originally located at 4120 S. Broadway.  Since then, they have been blessed with a booming collision repair business and reputation for outstanding customer service and quality workmanship. The business relocated to 1620 E. 1st Street in Wichita, KS in March of 2007.

Certified Technicians

Mike’s Body Shop employs three certified auto collision technicians to handle any auto body need including frame, collision, paintless dent repair (PDR), paint and mild restorations customizations.  They work with any auto insurance company and are on the preferred list for Farm Bureau.  Mike’s Body Shop provides free estimates and deductible assistance, as well as free loaner cars based on availability.  In addition to customer car repairs, Mike purchases vehicles that have minor damage.  He then repairs those vehicles and sells them well below Kelley Blue Book and NADA pricing.  Mike’s also specialize in auto sales for used cars, trucks, vans and SUV’s from local trade-ins and clean title vehicles.

Mission

Mike’s Body Shop’s mission is to provide excellent auto body services at fair prices and to provide top quality repairs by experienced professionals with God at the center of the business.  Mike’s takes pride in knowing that their customers are satisfied with the work that is done and will always go above and beyond the usual routine like repairing dents or scratches that were not part of the original damage, just to make the overall car better.  Another extra is that all vehicles receive a detailed cleaning inside and out after work is completed.  In addition, Mike’s Body Shop is a smoke free facility and customers can take comfort in knowing their vehicle will not be smoked in while work is being completed.
