Kitchen Remodeling

Wanting to update or remodel your kitchen? With the help of our computer design program, your kitchen will come to life in no time. Just bring us your measurements, or we can come to your home and do the measuring for you for FREE. In no time we will have your new kitchen. All estimates are FREE. We have a large selection of Merillat and Mid-Continent door styles, wood species, and stains to choose from, so you are certain to find the right look for your home. Along with your new cabinets, you may also need new countertops. We carry some Pre-formed countertops in our stock. If we don’t have the color you are looking for in stock we can get laminate and preformed in both Formica and Wilsonart brand. Our truss plant does the fabrication of preformed countertops. If you are looking for solid surface, we have Corstone, Swanstone, Corian, Zodiaq, and Wilsonart. Our design staff can help you find the right look for just the right price!

Hardware

Hardware provides many services, including key cutting, re-keying locks, and steam cleaner rentals. We have an array of sinks, toilets, showers, mirrors, and vanities to choose from.

Paint

Make your way back to the paint department where you will find Benjamin Moore has an excellent selection of colors for you to choose from. If you have a color that you just have to have and can’t find it anywhere - stop by and have Tony take a look and he will match the color for you. Wanting some advice on how much paint to purchase to paint your house just ASK TONY. Our paint department carries a full line of caulk and putty.

Garage Door

We carry Raynor garage doors in many styles-both insulated and non-insulated, with a variety of color choices and glass designs. Raynor can manufacture almost any size door to meet your special needs. We also offer a FREE garage package. This package is a full quote on the garage of your dreams. Roofing Material

We stock both Tamko Heritage and Owens-Corning Oakridge shingles. We inventory around 20 differ­ent color choices to help you get the right match for your home. We also offer Malarkey Class IV Impact shingles with hail and high wind-resistant rating, which may allow you a reduced rate in your home insur­ance. Millwork Division

Heartland Building Center has a full service millwork division. We stock many hollow core doors in paint-grade and stain-grade. We also carry pre-hung units ready for delivery or pick-up. Our line of millwork includes many patterns in oak, pine, mahogany, finger-joint, MDF, and some patterns in northern hardwoods. Windows and stair systems are another product line that we specialize in. We work with name brand prod­ucts such as Andersen, Simonton, LJ Smith, Masonite, and Jeld-Wen.

Stoves-Fireplaces

If your energy bills are rising as the temperature falls, come see Dillon, Mike Fross or Damion about a stove or fireplace. We offer many brands including Quadra-Fire, Heatilator, and Heat & Glow. There are also sev­eral types such as wood-burning, pellet, corn, and gas available. Along with the units themselves, we also offer the accessories and pipes to go with them. For a more decorative look, also check out our selection of cultured stone which would enhance any fireplace or siding on your home.

Truss Design-Fabrication

Heartland Building Center provides a full line truss design and manufacturing facility. Our truss designers use truss design software that satisfy virtually any aesthetic and functional specification by the building de­sign professional. Our roof and floor truss designs are fully engineered and stamped by licensed engineers, assuring code compliance and structural integrity. Our customers receive a product that meets nationally recognized standards for truss design and manufacturing of metal plate connected wood trusses. Our truss design is FREE.

We also offer customer and technical support for the application of engineered wood I-Joists, LVL’s, and other engineered laminated products.
The truss plant staff provide our customers with a variety of pre-fabricated products at our truss plant facil­ity located at 710 General Custer Road. Some of the services they offer include the production of engineered wood roof and floor trusses, producing post-formed kitchen countertops, pre-hanging interior and exterior door units, and ready-made yard sheds.
All of these services are in-house, providing our customers with quality and flexibility to meet their building project needs.

Decking and Fencing

We offer treated wood for decking as well as Evergrain composite decking. Besides decking, Dave also works with Fairway vinyl railing and fencing. We carry chain link, cedar, split rail and vinyl fencing. If you have any questions about decking, railing, or fencing, stop by or give us a call.

Doors and Windows

We carry a full line of Andersen and Gerkin windows and doors. We offer FREE measuring for your new window or doors. Just give Dave, Lloyd or Ken a call and they will come to your home or to the job site and measure for you. We are your Northwest Kansas excellence dealer.

Heartland Building Center has several services that we offer our customers. We have a full service window shop ~ we can fix your broken window or screens. We stock a selection of repair parts, spline, screen, glass and plexi-glass to meet all your needs. We also offer tool repair ~ we stand behind all the power tools that we sell. We can accommodate a warranty repair or if you are having problems that are not covered by the warranty, our in house service department will be happy to give you an appraisal of the tools. We also offer tool rentals ~ we can rent a saw to the blow in insulation machine. We also offer delivery to several loca­tions in the state of Kansas.
