139th Old Settlers Days takes place in Mulvane

The 139th Mulvane Old Settlers Days took place in Mulvane’s Main Street Park on Friday, August 17 through Sunday, August 19.

The three day festival was packed full of entertainment for festival goers, including an arts and craft show, carnival, food, music, horse show, parade, street dance, dog competition, golf tournament and more.

The Mulvane Old Settlers Days is one of the longest running festivals in Kansas, getting its start back in the fall of 1873 when a couple of neighbors got together to celebrate the harvest with a picnic.

Fair buttons cost $2.00. Proceeds from the Old Settlers Days will benefit future Old Settlers Days events.
