After 15 years at Century II, the Wichita Women’s Fair has become an annual February tradition for thousands of Kansas women. This year’s fair Feb. 15-17 features the return of popular events – including the shopping marketplace, fashion and hair shows, cooking and dance demonstrations, fun and entertaining contests, Fitness Challenge, Friday business workshop and second keynote speaker on Saturday -- plus 385 exhibits offering information on an array of topics from health issues to financial planning.

Last year’s show attracted over 15,000 attendees from across the state. The show is owned and operated by two Wichita women, Chris Veazey Brown and Deanna Wheeler.

Women’s Fair 2013 kicked off Friday, February 15, with an afternoon business workshop and evening Girls’ Night Out, hosted by Bonnie Bing, and culminates on Sunday afternoon with the Models and Images’ International Model Search. Fashion, hair and cooking shows are offered daily.

Fair hours are noon to 8 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.Admission is $8.25 for adults, $7.25 for seniors and $5.25 for children 6-12. Children 5 and under are free. The Party Bus will again provide doorside transportation from Lawrence-Dumont Stadium parking lot.
