Dedicated runners, many of them in costumes, began their Irish holiday by running in the 4th Annual St. Patrick’s 5K.
Runners came dressed in their finest green attire and started the race at 8 a.m. The race began and ended in the parking lot of Old Cowtown.
A portion of the proceeds from this family-friendly event will benefit Big Brother Big Sisters of Kansas.
The race included bagpipe music, food and prizes for the top runners.
