Crown Uptown Dinner Theatre is offering an 'Opening Weekend Special' for the newest musical-comedy Church Basement Ladies 4: A Mighty Fortress is our Basement.

For one weekend only, the theatre will be offering a ‘Buy One, Get One FREE’ ticket special.

Ticket special for Friday, February 1 and Saturday, February 2 will include two tickets to Church Basement Ladies: A Mighty Fortress is Our Basement and dinner for $55.00 (up to a $110.00 value). Dinner begins at 5 PM and the play begins at 7 PM both nights.

Ticket special for Sunday, February 3 includes two tickets to Church Basement Ladies: A Mighty Fortress is Our Basement for $40.00 (up to a $80.00 value). Doors open at 12:30 PM and appetizers and desserts will be available for purchase.

based on the humorous novel, Growing Up Lutheran. The show revolves around the Church basement kitchen, the four distinct women who work there and their relationships as they organize the food and solve the problems of rural Minnesota Church. And like the other three installments of the ‘Church Basement Ladies,’ the women must once again face change head-on, all while singing and dancing to great new songs by composer Drew Jansen. 

Dinner Information

Dinner will be served prior to the show. The menu includes a salad and California Bisque soup served with Sweet Corn Bread. Entrees include your choice of one of three main dishes: Chicken Fried Chicken (served with mashed potatoes, cream gravy and a winter vegetable medley), Braised Beef Short Ribs (served with mashed potatoes, peas and carrots in braising jus, topped with crispy fried onions), or Herb Crusted Tilapia with a lemon butter sauce (served with roasted red potatoes and a winter vegetable medley).
