Enjoy a free short stack of three buttermilk pancakes from any central or western Kansas IHOP restaurant 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb 5, and support sick and injured Kansas kids by donating the meal cost to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Via Christi Health.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals helps Kansas kids by raising funds for children’s hospital services and helping families with the cost of care-related expenses not covered by health insurance.
This year’s IHOP’s annual National Pancake Day fundraiser is a week before the traditional Pancake Day, also known as Shrove Tuesday or Mardi Gras, the day before Lent. In many homes, families give up eggs, milk, butter and other fats for Lent, so making a batch of pancakes is a traditional way to prepare for this holy season.
Last year Pancake Day raised nearly $7,000 for young patients across the 64 counties of central and western Kansas served by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at Via Christi Health. Nationwide, the event raised more than $5.35 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
