The Kansas Firefighters Museum will host a ceremony to honor those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks.
The ceremony will be part of a simultaneous nationwide observance on Tuesday, September 11, 2012.
The ceremony will begin with a flyover from Jayhawk Wing of The Commemorative Air Force.
There will be a release of forty white doves to honor those who died by Dottie Conboy of White Wings-United Doves.
Kansas Honor guard members, Boy Scouts, Firefighter Explorers Post 881, and South High School Madrigals will join in this recognition.
The ceremony will be followed by a reception with refreshments.
All are welcomed and encouraged to attend this FREE event in remembrance of the fallen emergency personnel and civilians who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
