Central Riverside Park Playground

The Central Riverside Park is a large park that features a large playground, interactive water park, picnic areas, gazebo, restroom facilities, countless winding paths, and a duck pond. The 58 acre park is beautifully shaded and has large open areas making it a perfect spot for picnics, sports, and bike rides.

The park is an ideal place for families to bring their young children to burn off some extra energy. The playground features a large metal rocket ship, swings, jungle gym, monkey bars, tire swing, and much more. There are also shaded benches surrounding the playground for parents to sit and watch their children enjoy the park.

The Central Riverside Park is located along the Arkansas River, between N. Nims St. and W. Stackman Dr. It is also near the “Museums along the River,” which includes the Wichita Art Museum, Botanica Gardens, Old Cowton Museum, and the Mid-America Indian Center.
