On March 10, the 4th Annual St. Baldrick's Head Shaving Event will be held in order to raise money for childhood cancer research.
Firefighters from all over Kansas, local community members, friends and family members will be getting their heads shaved in order to stand in solidarity for children fighting cancer.
The event will begin with the head shaving of all the brave individuals at 6 p.m. at Charisma Inner Beauty (7721 W. 21st St.). Following going bald, the event will move to Dudley's Irish Pub (8550 W. 21st) for an after party and raffle.
St. Baldrick's is still looking for more shavees and donations of goods for the raffle. Last year's event brought in more than $16,000 and this year they're looking to break this record.
So, if you're up for the challenge, St. Baldrick's invites you to shave off those beautiful locks for a great cause.
