Heel 2 Heal runners lace up their shoes for a good cause

The E.C. Tyree Health & Dental Clinic Heel 2 Heal run/walk began at 8:00 AM on Saturday, July 28. The 2 mile race was located at St. Mark UMC at 14th & Lorraine in Wichita.

Money was awarded to winners of the race, including $200 to the overall male & female winner, $100 to the 2nd place male & female winner, $50 to the 3rd place male & female winner, and $50 to the overall masters male & female winner.  The race also included free breakfast snacks, music and other awards for the racers.

The Heel 2 Heal race benefitted the E.C. Tyree Health & Dental Clinic of Wichita. For 26 years the clinic has been providing dental and/or health coverage for underserved clients.
