WHO: Towne East Square invites area-residents and Race for the Cure participants to stop by its Pink Party from 10 a.m. to noon this Saturday, September 29, for a day of fashion, food and fun in the mall’s Lower Level, Dillard’s Court.
Race for the Cure participants can continue celebrating breast cancer awareness month with all their girlfriends at the annual Pink Party featuring fun activities, samples, special retailer discounts and fabulous goody bags while supplies last.
Guests can also enter to win one of several great door prizes! Mall retailers including Dillard’s, The Limited, Estee Lauder, Maurices, jcp portrait, Noodles & Co., and Cinnabon, along with other community vendors such as DuCharme Chiropractic, The Movement Authority, R2 Dentistry, Jazzercise among others will be at the event providing samples, prizes, coupons, massages, entertainment and more!
Towne East Square is also hosting a Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure this Saturday, September 29. There will be four races ranging from 5K to 1 mile that start and finish at Towne East Square. The first race begins at 7:45 a.m. and the last race starts at 10:30 a.m.
Check in begins in the parking lot at 6:30 a.m. Area-residents can register at Towne East Square’s Dillard’s Court, Lower Lever on September 27 and 28 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. or visit www.komenmidks.org.
Up to 75% of the money raised serves women in the 95 counties in Kansas served by the Mid-Kansas Affiliate. 25% funds global research to find the cure for breast cancer.
COST: The Pink Party is free to attend and open to the public. Costs to participate in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure range from $10 to $30.
