Wichita high schoolers pledge to stop bullying and celebrate with pep rally

Sean James, former Minnesota Viking, founded a campaign to stop bullying across America. His campaign, Be in the Know Against Bullying, has been brought to Wichita. On Saturday, September 22, James and Wichita area high schoolers celebrated the campaign with a pep rally.

Davis Moore Nissan hosted the pep rally. KWCH sports anchor Grant Meech emceed the event. Wichita Southeast Jazz Combo Band kicked off the pep rally. The following groups also performed: Wichita North Pom, Wichita West Cheer, Wichita South Cheer, Wichita North Cheer, Wichita West Pom, Wichita Southeast Dance, Wichita Collegiate Cheer, Wichita Southeast Cheer and Rose hill Cheer.

James spoke at the pep rally, as well as former Kansas City Chief Mike Bell. They encouraged the high schoolers to spread the anti bullying campaign through their high schools.
